Foundation degree is for international students who want to achieve a British degree but not eligible for direct entry to Bachelor program and need additional English language improvement and academic preparation. Foundation program is a 6 months to 1 year preparatory program to design to develop the student for University’s 1st year. It works as an intermediately curriculum for the main program. Students with poor English and academic result should undertake foundation program before joining in to the Bachelor program.
Foundation programs are available for different pathway i.e. Business; Science; Finance; Management; Marketing; Law; Computing; Media; Art & Design; Pharmacy and Humanities.
In order to accepted for Foundation program a minimum of overall 4.5 IELTS score is required and no less than 4.0 in any individual components along with student Higher Secondary Certificate.
UK universities are well known for its undergraduate program in numerous disciplines. Undergraduate programs can be 3 to 4 years in the UK based on the course and intake. Most of the international students undertake a 3 years Bachelor program consisting of lecturers, assignments, seminars, workshops and projects. Few modules in the program are option i.e. student can design their own program based on their necessity. International students can work for 20 hours a week during the term time which can be used as a tool to integrate with the society; improving ones English language practical skill and earning handsome amount of money for support oneself.
On the other hand, most of the science and engineering Bachelor degrees are designed for 4 years. Also there are 1 year Bachelor programs are available known as Top Up if the students have a UK Level 5 Higher National Diploma.

Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is mainly designed for the professionals who have a good numbers of years of experience in their professional career in the department of management. It is assumed that professionals met a problem in their workplace which couldn’t be dealt with their existing academic knowledge as a result; hence the course is designed to develop the problem solving academic knowledge for the professionals. It is not mandatory for candidates to have good marks in their Master’s but a practical work experience will certainly necessary for DBA programs.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is the highest level of degree a student can achieve in his academic career. It is designed for academic researchers who have good grade (at least 60%) and sound academic background in their previous qualification and wants to undertake a fresh research within a particular area. It is necessary that candidate have good grades in his previous qualification. Also the area of the research has to be fresh and there must be gap available in the previous research done by other authors.
Pre Masters program is for10 weeks to 1 year duration designed to prepare the international student for the main Masters program. Students with below required English IELTS score should undertake this program to improve their English skill and prepare for the University’s Masters Program. Also if the international student’s Bachelor degree does not meet the criteria of University’s requirement should undertake this program in order to prepare themselves for the main Masters program.
